- Appeal: Ruby Falls Redbud is a dwarf weeping cultivar that will stay small and can be a great specimen tree to add to any landscape. It will have the lavender magenta colored flower blooms in early spring before the foliage emerges. The leaves start off a maroon burgundy color in the spring but will change colors throughout the summer. The leaves will become more green with maroon streaks and last up to the winter months with this coloring. Considered native, deer resistant, and tolerant to juglone.
