  • Appeal:  The Sawtooth Stewartia is an excellent flowering tree to add to the landscape. White cup shaped flower blooms with orange centers and can have reddish to pink color on the outside petals. The flowers will emerge in late spring or early summer. The dark green foliage will change to hues of red and orange during the fall season before losing its leaves for winter. Sawtooth Stewartia has interesting bark with red brown color and exfoliating or peeling habit that adds to this tree’s overall value.
