Nutri-Peat Mulch

Description

Nutri-Peat Mulch is a nutrient rich mulch composed of pine shavings. The shavings go through a process where they are mixed with horse manure, allowed to age where they pick up the nutrients and are darkened in color, and then the manure is screened out and the shavings are aged further. What is produced is a very dark pine shaving that is loaded with nutrients, but has no manure odor. It holds its color very well and instead of pulling nutrients from your soil as it breaks down, it adds to it. As it decomposes it becomes a rich humus. A great mulch alternative.
